Description
The top of the Altispace chair lift offers a panorama over the Morel Valley and the Lauzière Massif. From there, take the large downhill path which then goes up to the Arenouillaz (2 020m). Continue towards the top of the chairlifts (2 185m) which are at the heart of the Valmorel ski resort. The Madeleine Col, famous Tour de France gateway, is a short downhill walk from there. Continue down the Rave valley on a small path until arriving at the Rozet (1 640m). After a short uphill portion, follow the Eau Rousse Valley which offers a view over the Lauzière Massif. Walk by the Petit Mucillon until arriving at le Biard (1 560m). For a shortcut, re-join Valmorel by passing through Montolivet.
Keep on the road which goes around the Montagne de Tête (Mountain of the head). Go past the junction at the Arenouillaz ski lift until arriving back at the Altispace chair-lift.
